Harry Styles has moved to silence rumours of an impending One Direction split by insisting the pop group is "not breaking up".
The band has been on hiatus since last year (13) and they are scheduled to head back out on tour in April (14).
However, the singers have been hit by a slew of rumours suggesting they are on the brink of a big break-up, prompting Styles to speak out and assure fans not to worry about the band's future.
He tells Britain's The Sun newspaper, "We're not breaking up. We've spent every day together for months and I forgot what my mum looked like! It's just holidays."
His bandmate Liam Payne adds, "We have been writing away for the next album and rehearsals are just about to start for the tour. We're not splitting up. We're... messaging each other all the time, talking about song ideas and just funny stuff from our day."
