Hugh Jackman fears his first car is still dumped on the side of a freeway in Perth, Australia because he abandoned it there when it broke down for the final time.
The movie star, who zips around in an Audi sportscar in the new Wolverine movie, admits driving the luxury vehicle made him realise just how far he has come since he first hit the road in his homeland behind the wheel of a motor he shared with a pal.
He tells Wenn, "My very first car, for all I know, is still on the side of the road in Perth. It cost $800 - I spent 400 and my mate Warrick spent 400. I was at drama school.
"We left it on the side of the freeway the eighth time it broke down. For an $800 car, finally we were like, 'Stop it,' and we just left it and we hitch-hiked our way home. I have no idea where that car is now.
"I broke every rule known to man behind the wheel of that car."
