Les Miserables stars Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe met up for tea and cricket at Lord's in London on Thursday (18Jul13) as they cheered on Australia in the second Test Match of the summer (13).

The two stars reunited in the fabled Long Room and chatted to Audioboo.fm about the game, Australia's chances of winning and their own cricketing memories.

Gladiator star Crowe, who posted a link to the radio chat and a photo of himself posing with pal Jackman, revealed he'd arrived late for the final two hours of play after working on a new movie and admitted he loved the intimacy of Lord's, stating, "You feel so close to the game."

He added, "This is my second time at Lord's. I came here in 2009. I wanted to come here earlier but my cousin, Martin, who was a test cricket player for New Zealand, insisted that the first time I came to Lord's I had to go with him, and I didn't know why until he casually walked me through the Long Room and, 'Oh, there's Martin's portrait...'"

Asked what he thought of his native Australia's chances of winning the second test, Jackman, who is currently promoting new movie The Wolverine, stated, "It's not looking as good as it did about two hours ago."

England finished the first day of the latest test on 289-7 thanks to Ian Bell's century.

The home nation won the first of the five annual test matches earlier this month (Jul13).
