Rapper Iggy Azalea has accused a pizza delivery worker of leaking her private phone number after she ordered a take-out dinner.

The Fancy hitmaker was baffled when she was inundated with calls and texts from fans after ordering a meal from a branch of Papa John's Pizza in California, and she later blamed a member of staff for handing out her number.

Azalea vented her fury by sending a flurry of messages to the company via Twitter.com, writing, "@PapaJohns was my favourite pizza but the drivers they use give out your personal phone number to their family members... And the supervisors at @PapaJohns refuse to send pictures of their employess (sic) so you can identify who it is that steals your information... You know, to protect their privacy... Too bad they don't value the privacy of their customers also. #DamnShame."

The star also shared screenshots of several messages she received.

Bosses at Papa John's Pizza have since responded to the rapper's rant in a message posted on Twitter, writing, "@iggyazalea #We should have known better. Customer and employee privacy is important to us. Please don't #bounce us!"
