Defiant rocker Jack White challenged promoters in Dublin, Ireland on Thursday night (26Jun14) when he refused to end his set at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham after they pulled the plug on his performance.
The former White Stripes star overran his time slot at the venue, prompting gig bosses to cut off the electricity during an encore cover of Leadbelly's Goodnight, Irene.
But, determined to finish the concert, White informed fans of the news and completed his set acoustically with a little help from support act The Kills, featuring his Dead Weather bandmate Alison Mosshart, who also joined the rocker for a rendition of his song Love Interruption.
