Jack White stunned fans in his adopted Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday night (28Jan15) when he reunited his band Raconteurs during a solo show at Bridgestone Arena.

Fans thought they'd witnessed all the highlights when Country Music Hall of Fame member Loretta Lynn stepped out to support her pal, but when White returned to the stage after a brief intermission in his set, he was surrounded by Raconteurs Brendan Benson and Jack Lawrence, while the rocker's touring drummer Daru Jones filled in for the departed Patrick Keeler.

White and his former bandmates performed Salute Your Solution and fan favourite Steady as She Goes, before Lynn was brought back onstage to sing Portland, Oregon with White's touring band and his guest Raconteurs, prompting the night's headliner to joke, "Well thank you, Loretta, I'm glad you didn't have nothing better to do tonight (sic)."

Portland, Oregon appeared on Lynn's 2004 album Van Lear Rose, which White produced and co-wrote.
