Keira Knightley's husband, Klaxons band member James Righton, crowd surfed at their wedding in the South of France last year.
Klaxons' James Righton crowd surfed at his wedding to Keira Knightley.
The new rave band's keyboard player married the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actress last year in the South of France and his bandmate Jamie Reynolds has revealed that during the nuptials he did a gig-style jump onto their guests' heads as the band performed.
When quizzed on what the couple's wedding song for their first dance was, Reynolds told The Guardian newspaper: ''I don't remember, but I do remember us crowd surfing him to 'Lucky Man' by The Verve. There was a crowd surf at the wedding!
''We also sang James' favourite song. We chose 'What A Day for Me' by Harumi because he loved that song.
''I changed some of the words to be more appropriate for a wedding. It was probably the most petrifying gig I've ever done.''
The 'Golden Skans' singer also admitted that he, Righton and their bandmate Simon Taylor-Davis invited Keira to the studio when they were working on new material for upcoming third album 'Love Frequency' to get her opinion on the tracks.
Quizzed on whether she'd contributed to their music, he said: ''It's more on a dance level, you know what I mean? She contributes via dance ... I think maybe 'A New Reality' got the best reaction.''
