Jamie-Lynn Sigler has given birth to a baby boy.

The 'Sopranos' star welcomed her first child with her baseball player fiancé Cutter Dykstra into the world yesterday afternoon (28.08.13) in Los Angeles, and she and her tot are both doing ''great'' following the delivery.

A representative for the couple told Us Weekly magazine: ''Both mommy and baby are great!''

The 32-year-old actress is yet to announce the name of her new arrival but she previously said she would be giving her child a ''normal'' moniker.

She said last month: ''It will be a NORMAL name. A real name.''

The brunette beauty - who played Meadow Soprano, the daughter of Mafia boss Tony Soprano, played by the late James Gandolfini, in the HBO series - revealed she was expecting a baby in February just two weeks after announcing her engagement to her beau Cutter.

Jamie-Lynn's pregnancy wasn't smooth sailing as she found it ''pretty hard'' adjusting to her ever-growing bump.

She previously said: ''The first few months were not fun. I got hit pretty hard, but I feel fantastic now. It's the most natural thing your body can do. I have no part in anything that's happening with the baby. I'm just kind of a vessel, so it really is a miracle and it really is an exciting time.''
