Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has been undergoing controversial stem cell-infusion treatments in China in her latest effort to preserve her looks.

The 58 year old, who has been open about her plastic surgery and Botox treatments in the past, reveals she has started visiting the Blue Horizon Stem Cell clinic in Wuhan, where doctors take cells from human placentas and inject them into the face to rejuvenate tired, wrinkled skin.

She recently underwent her first session at a cost of $10,000 (£6,670), and she admits she is thrilled with the results so far.

DICkinson tells America's Star magazine, "If anybody is going to have a state-of-the-art, revolutionary skin-care miracle, it's going to be me, with my hand out, first in line. My skin has gone from grey to rosy pink, and I feel great...!

"My skin is just amazing. My face and legs and my hands and my feet and my vagina and my butt. Everything got so smooth. My life has improved tremendously!"

The stem cell treatment has yet to be approved by medical experts in the U.S., but DICkinson is convinced the treatments are the way of the future - and even her fiance, Los Angeles-based psychologist Dr. Robert Gerner, has given the procedure a try.

She says, "I flew 24 hours to China with my fiance, Rocky, and went directly from the airport to the hospital, where I was prepped for the infusion... I woke up at 3am the following morning energised like there was no tomorrow. Rocky had the infusion too, and he and I had some of the best sex we've had in years!

"I can't tell you how our lives have improved immediately after the treatments. I'm calmer, I'm more focused and I'm nicer."
