Singer/songwriter Jesse Winchester has scrapped a series of upcoming concerts in Canada due to ill health.
The Yankee Lady musician was set to play three gigs in Ontario, Canada in April (14), but has pulled out of performing to focus on battling a mystery illness.
Winchester was diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus in 2011 and underwent surgery and treatment before returning to the road.
A email from his concert promoter reads, "That was then, and this is now. Unfortunately, Jesse Winchester has become ill again and has cancelled all concerts on his upcoming schedule until further notice. We wish him all the best as he fights his latest battle."
