Justin Bieber's representative has vehemently denied new reports suggesting the pop superstar spat in the face of a man in Ohio, insisting the alleged victim is just seeking a payday.

The unnamed male made the claims during a phone call to local radio show Dave & Jimmy on Tuesday (16Jul13), when he revealed the Baby hitmaker's security guards had approached him several times last Friday (12Jul13) as he deejayed at 21-and-over club the Social Room in Columbus and asked him to stop snapping photos of the 19 year old partying in the venue.

The Dj went on to accuse Bieber of confronting him and insulting his family before spitting in his face - prompting him to undergo a health test to check for hepatitis.

The results for the contagious disease came back negative, but the man is planning to file criminal charges against the singer over the reported assault.

However, a spokesperson for Bieber, who has been in the news for all the wrong reasons of late, has since blasted the allegations, branding the incident a "lie" that "never happened" and insisting that the superstar has become the victim of a vicious witch hunt.

The rep adds to GossipCop.com, "(The alleged victim is) another person looking for a paycheck in the witch hunt which at this point is just out of control."

It wasn't the first time embattled Bieber has hit headlines for spitting in someone's face - his Calabasas, California neighbour shared a similar story in March (13), when the pop star reportedly spat on him after he confronted the singer about speeding in their gated community.
