Ke$ha's mother claims the singer was once ordered to lose 15 pounds in a month by a former associate and was under a huge amount of pressure to stay slim before seeking help for an eating disorder last Friday (03.01.14).
Ke$ha was once ordered to lose 15 pounds in a month.
The 'Timber' hitmaker, who is currently seeking treatment in the Timberline Knolls centre near Chicago for an eating disorder, was put under a huge amount of pressure to slim down and was allegedly advised to take drugs to suppress her appetite by a former associate.
The 26-year-old star's mother, Pebe Sebert, told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''She had an advisor who told her he had a meeting with a record company and they said she better lose 15 pounds in the next 30 days.
''He told her he didn't care if she shoved her hand down her throat or took illegal drugs, but she had to lose the weight.
''Everybody in the industry has thrown up! Ke$ha's been in the bathroom with other celebrities throwing up.''
Friends previously blamed Ke$ha's producer Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, for her downward spiral but Pebe, who helped pen her daughter's hit 'Your Love Is My Drug,' said: ''It wasn't just Luke.''
She explained Ke$ha's decided to seek help after having a breakdown right before Christmas during which the blonde beauty admitted she had been struggling with bulimia since 2009.
Pebe added: ''When someone feels like they have no control, it's like it was the only thing she could control. She had no control over her career, her time, where she goes. She's like a show dog who gets called from point A to point B.''
