A publicist for 24 star Kiefer Sutherland has shot down reports suggesting the actor is dating actress Sofia Karstens.

The 47 year old was recently linked to Dazed & Confused star Jason London's estranged wife, but his rep tells People.com there's nothing to the story, while a source tells the publication the two stars went out "once or twice, but there's nothing more to it".

Rumours of a romance swirled when Sutherland and Karstens were spotted out on in New York on what appeared to be a date.
