Lea Seydoux recommends that people take a cold shower after having a bath.

The 29-year-old model and actress has shared her best beauty advice, where she encouraged her fans to embrace the natural look as well as the occasional cold shower.

When asked what she does to keep her skin in top condition, the Prada Candy spokesmodel said: ''To stay in touch with your emotions, to wear heels and to smile! Also, whenever possible, I try not to put make-up on to let my skin breathe.

''When acting I have to wear a lot of make-up, so when I'm not working I need to let my face breathe and be very comfortable. I always remove my make-up before going to bed. I also take a cold shower after a bath... it's really stimulating.''

Talking to Britain's Vogue magazine Lea - who starred in the Palme d'Or winning film 'Blue Is The Warmest Colour' - explained how acting in the perfume adverts for Prada's Candy has had a ''dramatic effect'' on her.

She explained: ''Acting in those commercial films has been, for me, all about playing a character. Candy has always been a very colourful and original character; she's a very impulsive young woman who does what she wants, when she wants. I think that in the first film, with Jean-Paul Goude, Candy was more spoilt and rebellious, but now we can see that she's grown up a bit and is more rounded as a character. With Prada Candy Florale, Candy's greater sense of freedom, lightness and sensuality come through in a sophisticated manner. This particular Prada Candy fragrance is inspired by flowers and it's these mysterious floral notes that have the most dramatic effect on me - they seem to bring bliss and beauty to the wearer.''
