Representatives for rapper Lil Boosie have warned booking agents of an alleged concert scam.

The hip-hop star, real name Torrence Hatch, was released from a Louisiana prison earlier this month (Mar14) after nearly five years behind bars.

It has now emerged four booking agents were allegedly fooled by a man pretending to be Boosie's brother, T.Q.

The agents parted with $25,000 (£15,600) thinking they had secured the rapper for a comeback concert, but the fraudsters allegedly vanished with their money.

The alleged victims have contacted police and the real T.Q. - who is in charge of his brother's bookings - also plans to file a report against the scammers, according to Tmz.com.
