Lily James and Sam Claflin have been cast in 'Their Finest Hour and a Half'.

The World War Two comedy is based on Lissa Evans's 2009 Orange Prize-nominated novel, which centres on an interesting mix of characters who work on a British propaganda film in Norfolk.

The group includes a silent age movie star, an advertising copywriter from the Ministry of Information and a Madame Tussauds costumier, among others.

They unite to tell the tale of two women who row across the English Channel to bring relief to the soldiers at Dunkirk, one of the key sites of the war.

'Their Finest Hour and a Half' is set to begin shooting in summer 2015.

Meanwhile, Lily was recently cast to appear in the much-hyped 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies', which is based on Seth Grahame-Smith's novel mash-up of Jane Austin's classic 19th century drama.

The 25-year-old actress - who is is perhaps best known for her role in the popular period drama 'Downton Abbey' - will play the role of Elizabeth Bennett.

Lily has also been cast as the title character in a live-action re-imagining of Walt Disney's 'Cinderella', which is due out next year.
