Rapper Ludacris has filed for full physical custody of his baby daughter as part of an ongoing child support battle.
The hip-hop star has been embroiled in a legal dispute with his former lover Tamika Fuller over their daughter Cai, who was born in December (13), and he was recently ordered to hand over $7,000 (£4,375)-a-month to help pay for the little girl's care.
Ludacris, real name Christopher Bridges, has now stepped up the legal war by filing for custody of the baby, according to Tmz.com.
Website editors report the rapper has requested full physical custody of Cai after describing himself as a "fit and capable parent" and "an active father" to his 12-year-old daughter Karma from a previous relationship.
Ludacris is currently in a relationship with his on/off girlfriend Eudoxie.
