A documentary about controversial rapper M.I.A. is back on track just weeks after director Steve Loveridge walked away from the project.

Loveridge quit last month (Jul13) after angering executives at M.I.A.'s Roc Nation record label by leaking early footage of the film online.

It appeared his departure had put the brakes on the long-awaited documentary, but the rapper has now told fans the project is up and running again.

In a post on Twitter.com, she writes, "Doc (sic) started back up today."

The as-yet-untitled film is expected to be released around the same time as M.I.A.'s fourth album, Matangi, which is scheduled to hit stores in November (13).
