Marchesa will show its new collection at London Fashion Week.

The British fashion brand - led by Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig - has decided to forego its traditional slot at New York Fashion Week in favour of marking the company's tenth anniversary on home soil.

Marchesa will unveil its spring/summer 2015 designs at London Fashion Week in September after holding talks with the British Fashion Council.

Georgina told WWD: ''We felt it was a good way to celebrate our anniversary. It will be a different experience. All our English friends and family can get an opportunity to celebrate with us.''

But the London show won't be a permanent move, as the brand will recommence showing in New York in time for the autumn/winter season in 2015.

Keren said: ''It's a one-off celebration in London, and then we are back in New York in February.''

It was recently announced that in addition to her duties with Marchesa, Georgina will oversee the revived Charles James fashion brand after her husband, prolific movie producer Harvey Weinstein, brokered a deal to resurrect the label.

Georgina hailed the late designer as an ''inspiration to me and everyone at Marchesa''.
