Pop rockers Maroon 5 and singer Kelly Clarkson have called off a joint gig in Virginia due to "scheduling conflicts".

The co-headliners were due to play at Bristow's outdoor Jiffy Lube Live venue on 13 August (13), but the concert has now been pushed back until September (13).

A post on Maroon 5's Twitter.com page puts the postponement down to difficulties with the band's schedule.

The message reads, "Due to contractual scheduling conflicts, our Bristow, VA Honda Civic Tour stop has been rescheduled for September 6th."
