Miranda Kerr wants to break into acting.

The 30-year-old model is keen to take a break from the fashion world and follow in the footsteps of her actor husband Orlando Bloom by branching into the world of theatre and movies.

According to the New York Post newspaper, Miranda was overheard at the 20th anniversary party of Stuart Weitzman's famed 5050 Boot saying: ''I am talking to acting agents.''

Meanwhile, the former Victoria's Secret Angel - who runs her own beauty brand KORA Organics - has taken inspiration from her spouse after watching him in a new Broadway theatre production of 'Romeo and Juliet', in which he plays the titular heartthrob.

She said previously: ''When I saw Orlando on Broadway in 'Romeo and Juliet', I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week - I have so much respect for him.''

However, the couple - who tied the knot in 2010 and raise two-year-old son Flynn together - won't be practicing their lines together any time soon as they prefer to keep their careers separate at home.

She said: ''We don't run lines though. We keep that very separate. That would be like me asking him to teach me how to catwalk.''
