The mother of Liam Gallagher's love child has filed for full custody of their daughter.

American journalist Liza Ghorbani has asked Manhattan Supreme Court to keep full care of 10-month-old Gemma - who Liam has never met - in a filing made yesterday (27.11.13).

Details of the case will not be made public, but Liza has previously filed a lawsuit at Manhattan Family Court asking for $3 million in unpaid child support.

A source has previously told the New York Post newspaper: ''Ghorbani is seeking sole custody of Gemma and asking the court to impose supervised visitation upon Gallagher - if he ever decides to meet and visit his daughter.

''Her concern is that he still lives the life of a rock star, and she wouldn't want to leave the child in his care.

''Liam has never seen Gemma, nor spoken to her, nor has he expressed any interest in how she is doing.''

Beady Eye singer Liam and Liza started an affair after she interviewed him in 2010, and news of their love child led to the end of his marriage to Nicole Appleton, whom he walked out on earlier this summer.

Liam, 41, reportedly issued a confidentiality agreement to Liza to stop her speaking about their relationship and has not been co-operative since finding out Gemma was his, delaying court proceedings by seeking a paternity test and refusing to disclose financial information.

Liam has three other children by three different women; 12-year-old son, Gene, with wife Nicole Appleton, Lennon, 13, with ex-wife Patsy Kensit, and Molly, 15, with Lisa Moorish, following an affair in 1997.

Since splitting from Nicole, Liam is now in a relationship with his former personal assistant, Debbie Gwyther.
