Speaking to the October issue of ELLE magazine, she said: ''I'm very direct (as a boss). On set, I don't really act like an executive producer, I act like the other mentors. But when I see something I think could be done in a better way, I do open my mouth and I do say.
''It's not that I'm a control freak, but it's taken them 10 years to convince me to do television, so if I'm going to do something, I want it to be the best it can be.''
Although the two programmes - both of which are presented by Nigel Barker - can be hard work, Naomi insists she doesn't get stressed because it is the girls who are competing that are doing all the hard work.
The 43-year-old catwalk queen added to the publication: ''I'm not precious - I love doing the show. Whatever happens, it's reality and you see it. But I don't get stressed out because it's not about me, it's about the girls ... I don't get stressed. You're using the word stress. I can use 'tired'. I get tired. And when I get tired, I can chill.''
