Bosses at animal rights group Peta are bringing late horror movie icon Karen Black back from the dead for a new Halloween campaign.

The activists have unearthed the actress' 'I Wouldn't Be Caught Dead in Fur' ad from a decade ago, and they will be re-releasing it next week (begs28Oct13) to mark the first Halloween since their longtime advocate's death in August (13).

Black's widower Stephen Eckleberry gave the organisation permission to resurrect the campaign, which features his late wife posing alongside a tombstone etched with the slogan, 'I Wouldn't Be Caught Dead in Fur'.
