Piers Morgan's wife is set to undergo cosmetic surgery after the couple's young daughter accidentally broke her nose.

The Tv newsman's journalist partner Celia Walden was left with a cracked nasal bone after she was headbutted in the face by two-year-old Elise earlier this month (Dec13).

Walden now needs corrective surgery to repair the damage, and she has detailed her experiences in a column for Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper, writing, "Two weeks ago, my two-year-old daughter broke my nose. It was affectionately meant: in a rush of tenderness, she head-butted my face. But in the days that followed, my nose swelled up to a cartoonish size and swathes of purple coloured my under-eye area... Two days later I'm signing a confidentiality contract in Doctor X's waiting room...

"(The surgery will) be a simple shaving down of the broken bone, he assures me, with no incisions needed. There would be two weeks' down time but I could choose the colour of my cast from a selection of white, baby blue - and neon pink."
