Plan B made an energetic return to the stage in London last night (29.08.13).

The 'Stay Too Long' singer had stormed off stage early during a support slot for Eminem in Ireland on August 17 - blaming the crowd for not giving him a good reception - but was in an altogether brighter mood as he performed at The O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The rapper played an intimate show to 2,000 fans to celebrate the launch of mobile company O2's 4G network switch on.The concert was also streamed live to London's Kings Cross and Victoria Stations where people were given headphones to enjoy the show as a live-streamed silent disco.

Plan B - real name Ben Drew - performed from his canon of hits, including soul infused tracks from 'The Defamation of Strickland Banks' album including 'She Said' and 'Prayin', as well as some of his harder edged rap tracks, such as 'iLL Manors'. He was also joined on stage by drum and bass outfit Chase and Status to perform their collaboration 'End Credits'.

However, one track Plan B has dropped from his set and ruled out playing again is 'Charmaine' from his debut 'Who Needs Actions When You've Got Words', because it is ''about having sex with a 14 year old''.

After his 90 minute set, the generous star was seen in central London where he stopped to talk to a homeless man and gave him a £50 note, before heading to private members bar The Groucho Club.
