Troubled rapper Chief Keef has completed his court-ordered stint in a California rehab centre and returned to his native Chicago, Illinois.

The 18 year old, real name Keith Cozart, was ordered to enrol in a 90-day treatment programme in November (13) after violating the terms of his probation by testing positive for marijuana. He had been ordered to stay sober after pleading guilty to a charge of speeding following an arrest last May (13).

He initially checked in to the Promises celebrity clinic in Malibu, California, but moved to the Wavelengths Recovery facility in Orange County in December (13) in a bid to get away from the paparazzi.

Keef has since completed his sentence and he headed back to Chicago this week (begs17Feb14) to visit his young daughter.

He is due to appear before a Chicago judge for a progress hearing next week (28Feb14), but his lawyer tells Tmz.com the star is not planning to stick around - he wants to set up home in Los Angeles in the near future so he can focus on his music career.

Keef has already returned to work - he was granted special visits to the recording studio during his treatment and recently revealed he had detailed his experiences in a new song, titled F**k Rehab.
