Filmmaker Rian Johnson is reportedly in talks to take over directing the next two Star Wars films in the franchise from J.J. Abrams.

Abrams is currently filming Star Wars: Episode Vii in England, but bosses at Lucasfilm are hoping to bring the Looper director on board to write and helm Star Wars: Episodes ViiI and Ix, according to Deadline.com.
