Robyn - Robyn: 'Fans Will Have A Long Wait For New Music'

Swedish pop star Robyn has warned fans they are facing a long wait for her next album because she is "nowhere near finished" with the follow-up to 2010's Body Talk.

The With Every Heartbeat hitmaker admits she has only just headed back into the studio to start coming up with new material, but she has yet to decide what her next project will be.

She tells Britain's The Guardian newspaper, "I've started working again. I don't know what it will be - it's too early to say if it's going to be an album, or an Ep. I don't even know if it's going to be my own music. We shall see.

"I see people messaging me on my Twitter and sometimes I feel bad because I'm nowhere near finished with the album - it's probably going to be a while before you hear anything new from me."

However, Robyn has given fans something to keep them interested in her music - she has just filmed a new video for her Snoop Dogg collaboration U Should Know Better, although devotees will already be familiar with the track as it was first released three years ago.

Asked why she has decided to revisit the tune now, she explains that the promo director, Maria Wahlberg, had "a really good idea; that's the only reason".
