British actor Stephen Fry battled through a painful bout of sinusitis to attend an engagement at a school in London on Monday (01Jul13).
The Harry Potter star attended a reading session with children at a school in Tulse Hill as part of the London Evening Standard's Get London Reading campaign, which aims to raise literacy rates in the city.
Fry was battling a painful sinus infection, but refused to cancel the event due to his ill health.
In a post on Twitter.com before the session, he wrote, "Awoke w (with) satanically painful sinusitis, wanted to wrench my left eye out. Work, pseudoephedrine (medicine)!" before later confirming he had "fun" at the event.
