Sting - Sting: 'Justin Bieber Is In Freefall'

Veteran rocker Sting is convinced Justin Bieber has let the trappings of fame go to his head and put his career in jeopardy as his wild behaviour spirals out of control.

The Baby hitmaker's bad boy antics have made him a regular in the headlines over the last few months, amid feuds with his neighbours and alleged nightclub brawls, and he was back in the gossip columns this week (beg09Sep13) when a private jet pilot accused the singer of boarding a plane while high on marijuana.

Sting has now waded into the debate over the troubled former child star, and he has blamed Bieber's lavish lifestyle for his troubles.

He tells Britain's The Guardian, "Fame and ego and money can do terrible things... Look at Justin Bieber - it's like he's in freefall. I just hope he survives it because a lot of people don't."
