TIM GUNN has landed his own fashion TV show.

The 'Project Runway' mentor - famed for telling contestants to ''make it work!'' - will front 'Under the Gunn' on the Lifetime network in the US.

The show will feature Marie Claire's Senior Fashion Editor Zanna Roberts Rassi, Jen Rade and designer Rachel Roy as judges. Meanwhile 'Project Runway' fans will be familiar with the show's mentors, Anya Ayoung-Chee, Mondo Guerra and Nick Verreos.

The show will see two teams of fashion wannabes battling it out in a series of challenges each week, with the contestants who impress the least getting eliminated.

Annoucing the show, Tim tweeted: ''How exciting is this?!?! #UnderTheGunn @lifetimetv (sic)''.

The programme will run for 13 episodes from January, and will air as well as 'Project Runway', which will still feature Tim.

Tim has previously fronted his own show, 'Tim Gunn's Guide to Style', which aired on Bravo in 2007 and 2008.
