Viewers' Fcc Complaints About Miley Cyrus Made Public
TheSmokingGun.com has received copies of the some 150 letters sent to the FCC by viewers who were scandalized by Miley Cyrus's performance at last month's MTV Video Music Awards. While the letters, received in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, are the same type the FCC received following the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction at the Super Bowl in 2004, the FCC has no authority to take action in this case, since the telecast occurred on a cable channel, not on a broadcast outlet. TSG said it was publishing excerpts of the complaints for their entertainment value. Among them: Cyrus had engaged in implied sexual acts with bears. Her performance caused Thicke">Robin Thicke to have a slight erection which can be easily noticed through his pants. Her performance was racist in that she was objectifying black women. She was licking the butt of a stuff bear. Cyrus should be banned from all TV performances in the future. And: Where has censorship gone? Meanwhile the gossip website RadarOnline is reporting that Cyrus's performance so upset fiance Liam Hemsworth that he called off their engagement. A source told the website, That was all he needed to finally break up with Miley once and for all. He was embarrassed, disgusted and mortified by her performance.
