Yusuf Islam will hit the road in North America this winter for the first time in over 35 years.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, formerly known as Cat Stevens, will perform live in Los Angeles, Toronto and New York, among other cities to promote his first new album in five years.

Tell ‘Em I’m Gone features new tracks and covers of Edgar Winter's Dying To Live and Procol Harum's The Devil Came From Kansas.

The album, co-produced by Rick Rubin, was recorded in Los Angeles, Dubai, Belgium and London, and featured collaborations with folk legend Richard Thompson, Charlie Musselwhite and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy.

Yusuf's Islam's tour will begin at the Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada on 1 December (14).
