British girl group Sugababes will begin their assault on the U.S. pop charts with the help of rap mogul JAY-Z after signing a deal with his record label.
The Round Round hitmakers, comprising of Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah, have achieved major success in the U.K. and Europe, but have yet to break into the American market.
However, the trio hopes to establish a name for themselves with the help of Jay-Z after signing with his Roc-A-Fella Records, reports DigitalSpy.com.
The band flew out to Los Angeles on Monday (27Apr09) to work with the producers behind Beyonce and Rihanna's hit songs. The tracks will feature on the follow up to their latest disc Catfights and Spotlights, and will be released Stateside on Roc-A-Fella, while the girls will remain signed to Island Records in the U.K.
