Michael Madsen, the American actor best known for his role as 'Mr White' in Reservoir Dogs, has been arrested for child cruelty after an alleged fight with his teenage son. 54-year-old Madsen - whose career has nosedived in recent years - was arrested by officers in California on Friday (March 16, 2012).
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Madsen "appeared under the influence of alcohol" when officers arrived at his Californian home. His bail was set at $100,000 and his subsequent release was caught on camera by Tmz.com. In the short clip, Madsen said "everything's fine" and claimed the incident was "all a big misunderstanding". Still best known for his career-best role in Reservoir Dogs, Madsen also appeared as Susan Sarandon's tough boyfriend in 'Thelma and Louise'. Earlier this year, he gained infamy in the UK after appearing on the latest series of Celebrity Big Brother and becoming friends with disgraced X-Factor teenager Frankie Cocozza.
