Susan Sarandon has sparked rumours she is engaged.

The 66-year-old 'Cloud Atlas' star - who previously claimed she would never marry again - has reportedly been spotted shopping for engagement rings with her 36-year-old boyfriend Jonathan Bricklin in Amsterdam in recent days.

A spokesperson for the Oscar winning star did not confirm or deny the rumours but told the MailOnline: ''Susan just got back to NYC this morning from Europe, where she was receiving a Lifetime Achievement award from The Amsterdam International Film Festival. Between that, promoting Cloud Atlas, opening her new club SPiN Los Angeles at The Standard and the Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser she's holding at SPiN New York on Friday night, there's been no time to get married or go shopping.''

Earlier this year Susan - who was previously married to Chris Sarandon for 12 years and had a 21-year relationship with Tim Robbins - admitted she couldn't imagine walking down the aisle ever again.

She said: ''I really can't imagine it. Even when I got married, we never said it was going to be forever.

''It was a kind of practical decision. I don't think I ever thought of it as something that would be a huge deal.''

Despite not saying 'I do' to Tim - with whom she has two sons Jack Henry, 23, and Miles, 20 - the 'Jeff, Who Lives At Home' star believes their relationship was no less serious.

Having split with Tim two and a half years ago, Susan previous hinted her relationship with Jonathan was serious.

She teased: ''I'd say we are collaborators in a lot of different areas. We have a lot of projects in different areas.

''He's a great guy, but I hate that expression dating.''
