Boxer David Haye wants to star alongside Sylvester Stallone in the action-packed 'Expendables' franchise.
David Haye wants to play a villain in 'The Expendables'.
The burly boxing champion is exploring a career change into acting and would love to star alongside Sylvester Stallone in his action franchise.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''I'm looking into a move into action films once my boxing career comes to an end - hopefully voluntarily so it won't get ended by someone else.''
The professional boxer is keeping tight-lipped about potential movie roles, but did say ''the wheels were turning''.
He added: ''I want to be a baddie, to be honest. That would be my ultimate role so I can really get all 'eviled up' for it.''
Haye cited 'RED 2' star Bruce Willis as one of his action heroes alongside other actors in 'The Expendables', including Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren and Chuck Norris.
But, while he respects Willis, he isn't afraid about potentially fighting him on the big screen.
He said: ''Bruce has got the experience but I've got the youth and the strength. He might have a few moves I haven't seen before. He definitely could teach me some tricks. He's been through five 'Die Hard movies' and the only time you see him get killed is in 'Armageddon', and he killed himself [in that]. He's a top lad.''
