A multi-million dollar lawsuit has been filed against T-Pain, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, and Pitbull alleging the performers used The Batiste Brothers' music without permission.

The $100,000,000 (Gbp 66.6 million) lawsuit was filed in Louisiana last week (begs12Aug13) by Paul Batiste, who represents The Batiste Brothers band, a jazz ensemble founded in 1976.

Batiste accuses dozens of producers, rappers, record labels and music publishers of stealing the family's music and illegally using it in their own, without permission or compensation, according to AllHipHop.com.

The court papers read, "Defendants have blatantly poached beats, lyrics, melodies and chords from Plaintiff's songs."

Batiste is seeking a permanent injunction to prevent the defendants from using any further material and wants an award of actual damages and profits.
