In extremely sad news, Take That man Gary Barlow 's baby - which he was expecting with wife Dawn - has died at birth, according to the Bbc. The couple already have three children, Daniel 11, Emily, 10, and Daisy, three, but were hugely excited about welcoming a fourth child into the family. Tragically though, the baby was stillborn upon arrival.
A statement from the couple read "Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby. Poppy Barlow was delivered stillborn on August 4 in London. Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected."
It was looking rosy for Take That earlier in the year, with both Mark Owen and Robbie Williams also expecting newborns alongside Barlow. Gary's had a busy year, organising the Jubilee concert for The Queen, and that had come off the back of appearing as a judge on 'The X Factor UK'. The chance to concentrate on his family would've been something that no doubt kept him going throughout it all, and it's truly devastating that he and his wife have had the excitement of bringing a new life into the world taken away from them. Needless to say, Contactmusic's thoughts are with them.
