Tea Leoni has separated from her second husband David Duchovny, according to a spokesperson for the actor who confirmed the news to OnTheRedCarpet.com. Tea Leoni has been married to the 'Californication' star since 1997.
The couple split briefly in 2008 shortly after Duchovny checked himself into rehabilitation for sex addiction. The 'X-Files' star completed the treatment in October 2008 and the couple reignited their relationship in 2009. The pair have two children together, 12-year-old daughter Madelaine and 9-year-old son Kyd. Leoni, best known for her roles in 'Jurassic Park Iii' and 'Ghost Town', is currently working on Brett Ratner's anticipated new movie 'Tower Heist' about a group of low paid workers who conspire to rob a wealthy business man after falling victim to his Ponzi scheme. The film has been written by the award-winning Noah Baumbach and stars Ben Stiller, Eddie Murphy and Casey Affleck. Meanwhile, Duchovny will reprise his role as the troubled novelist 'Hank Moody' on the fifth season of Showtime's 'Californication'. His performance in the drama series earned him a Golden Globe in 2007.
Tea Leoni was previously married to the television commercial producer Neil Joseph Tardio Jr, having wed in New Jersey in 1991.
