Emily Maynard, the star of The Bachelorette, has vowed to take Jef Holm's name when the pair eventually tie the knot. Maynard and Jef got engaged on the season finale of the show, which somewhat bizarrely sees numerous male contestants vying for the same woman's hand in marriage.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show, Maynard confirmed she would take Holm's surname, saying, "Even though I went onThe Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I'm pretty traditional, believe it or not. So, yeah, for sure". As for when the wedding might happen, the reality star was non-committal, saying, "We don't have a specific date set yet. He's going to move to Charlotte, and then we're just going to take it day by day". Maynard is no stranger to the world of reality dating - she was the winner of 'The Bachelor', agreeing to marry Brad Womack before the couple split. Nevertheless, it didn't put her off giving the concept another go, but couldn't confirm whether her wedding to Holm would be played out in front of the cameras, saying, "People keep asking us that. And I keep saying the same thing. We don't even know what we're going to eat for lunch tomorrow.I've learned to never say never. It's something we'll have to talk about when the time comes, as a family".

Holm - who scored huge points on the show for connecting well with Maynard's daughter - said, "It doesn't seem like we even met on a show. It's so weird to us.We talk about it all the time. We're just like, 'I can't believe we found each other the way we did".
