Numbers Slip For Bachelorette But Still Beats Rivals'
Ratings for ABC's The Bachelorette dipped slightly on Monday for the second week in a row but were Nevertheless strong enough to beat the competition in total adults and adults 18-49. The two-hour telecast, which began at 8 00 p.m., averaged 7.59 million viewers, peaking in the final half hour with 8.01 million. At 10 00 p.m., Extreme Makeover Weight Loss Edition , pulled down ABC's numbers as it wound up in last place with 5.71 million viewers. All of the other networks aired mostly repeats and their ratings reflected their disengagement. NBC came in second for the night with 5.79 million viewers, edging out CBS, which had 5.46 million. Fox trailed with 4 million.
