British rockers The Cribs wrote a poignant song to honour the memory of a fan who committed suicide.

The musicians were devastated when they heard about the man's death in 2010 and set about writing a tribute track, I Should Have Helped, which featured on their last album, 2012's In the Belly of the Brazen Bull.

Bassist Gary Jarman tells Britain's NME magazine, "One of our fans... committed suicide. The band meant a lot to him, and I'd met him outside the Corn Exchange (concert venue) in Edinburgh. When someone cares about what you do, you have this degree of responsibility."
