Madcap British rockers The Darkness are planning a low-key comeback if the launch of a new website is anything to go by.
The group imploded in 2006 and split amid reports of alcohol abuse and in-fighting - and sibling bandmates Justin and Dan Hawkins went their separate ways, forming Hot Leg and Stone Gods respectively.
Reports suggest sober singer Justin has now reconciled with his brother and the pair has revamped The Darkness.
The new official website also links to a Facebook fan page - and top music news website Spinner.com has confirmed the band is back together, although it is still not known who will join the Hawkins brothers in the line-up.
During The Darkness' early 2000s reign in the world's charts, they released one acclaimed album, Permission To Land, and follow-up One Way Ticket to Hell... And Back. The original line-up consisted of the Hawkins brothers, Frankie Poullain and drummer Ed Graham.
