American rockers The Killers have plagiarised an Oasis guitar riff for a tribute song to the British band on their new album.

The MR BRIGHTSIDE hitmakers share a long-time admiration for the GALLAGHER brothers - they forming in 2002 after drummer DAVE KEUNING advertised in a Las Vegas, Nevada newspaper for bandmates with a common 'love for Oasis'.

As a tribute, The Killers have written I'M TALKING TO YOU for their follow up album to platinum-selling debut HOT FUSS.

Frontman BRANDON FLOWERS says, "This is our Oasis rip-off song, especially the guitar line. It could rescue their career.

"It's about talking to yourself and figuring out life's big problems on your own."
