The Killers' career came full circle at a gig in Manchester, England on Monday night (18Feb13) when New Order star Bernard Sumner joined them onstage.

The group performed Sumner's Crystal with the singer/songwriter and welcomed him onstage at the Manchester Arena by reminding fans how important he was to the birth of the band.

Frontman Brandon Flowers introduced his special guest as the group began its encore by stating, "We've got a little treat for you everybody, I don't know if you know this or not, but we took our name from a New Order video. It was from the song called Crystal. We're going to play it for you tonight with the illustrious and praiseworthy Bernard Sumner."

And there was another tribute to Manchester music to come - The Killers closed their rescheduled gig with A Dustland Fairytale, including an excerpt of Oasis hit Don't Look Back In Anger.

The Manchester Arena show was rescheduled after Flowers fell ill at the original date last year (Nov12).
