Rock band The Killers have recorded a song with music icon Lou Reed. The Las Vegas rockers worked on the track Tranquillize with the former Velvet Underground star - and is expected to be released on the band's forthcoming untitled rarities album. Frontman Brandon Flowers says, "We were thrilled with being able to work with Lou Reed. The song was calling for a duet and his voice was just right. The sentiment of the song is very him. It's one of our more depressing songs."
