Reformed rockers The Pixies have sold out a pair of London gigs within minutes of going on sale - proving they're more popular than ever.

The WHERE IS MY MIND? band are playing two concerts at the capital's esteemed Brixton Academy in June (04), and eager fans snapped up all the tickets immediately.

Now devotees who missed out are trading tickets for upto $360 (GBP200) on internet auction sites.

The critically-acclaimed four-piece - who split in 1993 - are playing 11 American shows as a warm-up to their headline gig at California's Coachella FESTIVAL in May (04), and are then hitting the road with Red Hot Chili Peppers for shows in Dublin, Ireland, and Paris.

The Pixies will perform their Brixton Academy dates on 2 and 3 June (04).
