The Script wowed fans with a stunning performance at London's Hammersmith Apollo last night (13.09.10).

The Irish trio thrilled the sold-out crowd with a number of tracks from their self-titled debut album and new LP 'Science & Faith', which was released yesterday.

Emotional singer Danny O'Donoghue thanked the crowd for their enthusiastic reception and acknowledged the group had come a long way since they recorded their first songs in a shed in Dublin.

He said: "London, you have been so amazing tonight. We had no idea when we were writing these words in a little shed in Dublin that they could change our lives and take us all over the world."

Guitarist Mark Sheehan added that the band were having an exceptionally good day.

He said: "We woke up today to find out our new album is number one on iTunes and that's all thanks to you guys. Days don't get much better than this."

The group - including drummer Glen Power - kept the audience entertained with old favourites 'The Man Who Can't Be Moved', 'Before The Worst', 'Talk You Down' and 'Rusty Halo' and introduced the crowd to songs from their new album, including single 'For The First Time'.

Pop star Pixie Lott and former Another Level star Dane Bowers were spotted enjoying the show.

An encore - including hit tune 'Breakeven' - finished off a successful night for the band before they continue their tour in Edinburgh tomorrow (15.09.10).
